Krissa Watry has a diverse and extensive work experience. Krissa began their career in 2002 as a Fellow at Draper Laboratory, where they designed and tested a Non-Contact Vibration Measurement system. In 2004, they joined 4 SOPS - USAF as a Milstar Payload Engineer, where they were a system level expert in Milstar communication payload. Krissa was then promoted to Milstar Chief of Payload Engineering in 2006, where they managed a team of 20 government and contractor engineers. In 2007, they joined Andrews Space as Program Operations Lead and Program Manager, where they helped the company find product market fit and adoption. In 2011, they co-founded Dynepic, Inc., where they served as Co-Founder and CEO. In 2013, they co-founded Dynepic Sports, LLC, where they were an inventor of innovative sports related equipment. In 2017, they joined Mission Solutions Group, Inc. as a Member of Board of Directors. Finally, in 2021, they co-founded Algorithm Holdings, where they help founders build and scale innovative, meaningful companies.
Krissa Watry received a BS in Engineering Mechanics from the United States Air Force Academy between 1998 and 2002. Krissa then went on to receive an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2002 and 2004.
