At the Dyslexia Reading Center of Central PA (aka, Dyslexia Reading Center, DRC), we provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in Centre County and beyond. Our tutors are trained in the Orton-Gillingham Method, and curriculums are individualized for each student's needs.

We also have a certified Dyslexia Advocate on staff if you're a parent who would like some assistance with your child's IEP/504, submitting an evaluation request, or just need a little support as you advocate for your child and navigate the waters of getting them the learning support they need.

What is our Mission?

The Dyslexia Reading Center is focused on three goals:
1) To provide the highest quality research-based, multisensory reading and writing instruction to individuals with dyslexia and/or learning differences
2) To train tutors in the Orton-Gillingham method of multisensory teaching in reading, writing, and spelling
3) To educate the public about dyslexia and the need for more effective instruction of students with dyslexia in public education
