Daniel Evans

Daniel Evans is a highly experienced professional with a solid background in data science and mechanical engineering. Since May 2017, Daniel has served as the Lead Data Scientist at Dyson, focusing on the development of intelligent performance metrics through machine vision and machine learning. Previously, Daniel held various positions at Dyson, including Senior Research Engineer and Senior Mechanical Engineer, where responsibilities included creating advanced image analysis techniques and leading verification test system designs for haircare products. Prior to Dyson, Daniel worked as a Design Engineer at ES Technology Ltd and as Projects Lead at Oxford Instruments, where coordination of software integration was a key role. Daniel holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Exeter, obtained in 2011.
