Fred Whitten

Fred Whitten is a Design Manager at Dyson, where they lead teams in creating innovative domestic robots. They earned a First Class Honours MEng in Product Design and Manufacture from the University of Nottingham. Previously, Fred worked at Blue Sky Printing, where they improved efficiency and developed an iOS application for customer use. They also gained experience as a Designer and IT Manager at Apex and participated in various mentorship roles, including the BBC's micro:bit initiative and The RSA's Pupil Design Awards. Throughout their career, Fred has consistently combined curiosity and creativity to enhance design processes and outcomes.
