George Watson is currently the Lead Design Engineer at Dyson Technology, specializing in creating subsystem architectures for next-generation Electro Magnetic Machines, Air Pumps, and Battery Packs within the Power Systems Research team. Previously, they served as a Senior Design Engineer at Dyson, focusing on concepts and prototypes for Digital Motors. With a background that includes experience in electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic design across automotive, aerospace, and industrial markets, George has utilized 3D Printed Steel to advance additive manufacturing innovations. They hold a Master of Engineering (MEng) from the University of Bath and were part of the award-winning Team Bath Racing, which made history by winning a Formula Student event in 2016.
