Jim Forrest

Lead Project Manager

Jim Forrest is an experienced design engineer with a background in product design and manufacturing engineering from Nottingham University. At Dyson, from September 2013 to August 2014, Jim participated in the graduate engineer program, contributing to reliability projects and implementing fixes in collaboration with contract manufacturers in Southeast Asia. As a Senior Design Engineer, Jim played a critical role in the Dyson Covent project, developing ventilator airway systems during the COVID-19 pandemic. Subsequent positions included Project Manager and Design Engineer, where Jim managed the technical development of assemblies for various Dyson products and ensured efficient design and manufacture processes. Earlier experience includes roles at The Shalom Institute, where Jim served as a Lead Project Manager and Camp Counselor, overseeing team management and logistics in a summer camp setting.
