Martin Bowen

Chief Legal Officer at Dyson

Martin Bowen is the current Chief Legal Officer at Dyson. Prior to that, they were the Group Legal Director at Dyson Limited from December 1998 to September 2009. Martin was responsible for managing a team of four solicitors and growing the department to meet the needs of a fast expanding business. This included developing legal strategy and systems for handling a volume of contracts, international advertising approval, assessment and testing of competitor products and challenging advertising claims in courts and tribunals worldwide.

Prior to joining Dyson, Martin was a solicitor at Osborne Clarke from January 1994 to December 1997. Martin completed their training as a solicitor there and then joined the Litigation team, specializing in insolvency, professional negligence and IP.

Martin Bowen completed a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Leeds. Martin then attended St. Illtyd's College.

Martin Bowen reports to Roland Krueger, CEO. Martin Bowen works with Steve Janoo - Global CIO, Steven Wichary - Global President, and Mark Taylor - Chief Research Officer.
