Suman Basak

Suman Basak is a Senior R&D Innovation Scientist at Dyson, specializing in Personal Care Research and Innovation since January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as an R&D Materials Scientist at QustomDot, where responsibilities encompassed the formulation and characterization of quantum dots using various spectroscopy and microscopy techniques, alongside materials characterization and lab management. Suman worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at DTU - Technical University of Denmark on an EU-funded project focused on polymer synthesis and as a researcher on controlled polymers. The academic background includes a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and Drug Delivery from DTU, complemented by studies at the University of Copenhagen and a Master's in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
