Ashley Johnston

Ashley Johnston has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Ashley most recently worked at Dyspatch as a Senior Product Designer, starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they were a Product Designer at the same company since May 2020.

Before Dyspatch, Ashley worked at Flytographer as a UI/UX Designer from June 2018 to March 2020. In this role, they collaborated closely with the product manager, developed project requirements, created UI/UX mockups, and worked with the development team to code the front-end. Ashley also provided guidance to developers, made business decisions, and ensured a smooth project workflow.

Ashley's work experience also includes a role at Real Estate Webmasters, where they started as a Senior Web Designer in June 2015 and later became a Squad Leader in May 2017. In both roles, they worked on customizing products and creating custom solutions for clients. As a Squad Leader, they also took on leadership responsibilities such as team management and project escalation resolution.

Early in their career, Ashley worked as a Graphic Designer at the Nanaimo Brain Injury Society. Ashley joined as a co-op during university and later became an advisor on the marketing committee. Ashley played a significant role in modernizing the organization's branding, including the development of a new logo and marketing materials.
