Reece Morris has a diverse work experience in various education-related roles. They started their career in 2014 as a Lecturer in Performing Arts at Warwickshire College Group, where they gained teaching experience through planning and overseeing extracurricular activities and productions. In 2015, they joined E-ACT as a Teacher of English for a brief period. In 2016, they joined Bilton School as a Teacher of English and Performing Arts until 2018. Additionally, in 2017, they worked as an Examiner at AQA. Returning to E-ACT in 2018, Reece held roles such as Acting Head of English and Second in English until 2021. Currently, they are the Head of Faculty (Inc. Associate) and have also taken on the responsibility of being the ECT/ITT Induction Lead, supporting trainee teachers in their early career development.
Reece Morris has a diverse educational background spanning several institutions and fields of study. In 2008, they attended St. Helens College and earned a BTEC National Certificate in Performing Arts (Acting). Reece then pursued higher education at Staffordshire University from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Drama, Performance, and Theatre Arts. Following this, in 2014 and 2015, Reece attended Birmingham City University, specializing in post-compulsory education and training, earning a PGCE (Post-Compulsory Education and Training). Continuing their professional development, Reece obtained a National Professional Qualification (NPQ) in Middle Leadership from SWANN Teaching Alliance: Leadership Live, where they studied from 2018 to 2020. Reece's journey in education continued in 2022 when they enrolled at the National College of Education to pursue a Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship with Chartered Manager Institute (CMI) status, while simultaneously studying for an MSc in Educational Leadership and Management at the University of Roehampton.
