Krishna R.

Krishna R. has a diverse background in software engineering and leadership roles. Krishna started their career at Larsen & Toubro as a Development Engineer, where they focused on embedded system development. Krishna then worked at NECTEC as a Telecom Researcher before joining Nortel Networks as a Sr. Software Designer, where they designed and developed features for CDMA Basestations. Krishna then transitioned to Research In Motion (RIM) as a Software Technical/Team Lead, where they successfully led teams in the development of multiple generations of BlackBerry smartphone products. After RIM, they worked at Palm as a Senior Manager, responsible for wireless software development. Krishna then joined Nook Media, a subsidiary of Barnes & Noble, as a Director of Engineering, managing and leading teams in delivering software for various peripherals. Krishna later worked at CloudCar™ Inc. as a Director of Engineering before joining Polyera Corporation as the Director of Platform Engineering. In this role, they led the Embedded Platform engineering team in developing the world's first flexible display wearable device. Finally, Krishna is currently working at E Ink Corporation as the Director of Software Engineering.

Krishna R. completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communications at Manipal Institute of Technology from 1987 to 1991. Following this, they pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Telecommunications from the Asian Institute of Technology, which they completed from 1995 to 1996.
