Jeff Rogers is an experienced database architect and educator with a robust background in database management and consulting. Currently serving as a part-time teaching volunteer for the Fundamentals of Computer Science program at Bowie High School through the TEALSK12 initiative, Jeff has also held key roles at eMDs as a Database Architect and Team Lead, and at St. David's HealthCare as a Database Administrator for the Neuro Texas Institute. Prior experience includes senior-level positions at NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, where Jeff led a significant project to create an operational data store, and as a founder and architect at ThingsAlive, focusing on product development and backend architecture. Jeff's earlier career featured substantial contributions at Microsoft Consulting Services and Microsoft, alongside work in development and QA at CoreStates. Jeff holds a BA in Economics with a focus on Economics and International Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
