David Baumber

David Baumber is an accomplished finance professional with over two decades of experience at E.ON, currently serving as Director of Finance for the Industrial & Commercial sector. In this role, David leads a team responsible for accounting, reporting, and planning while also providing cross-functional support. Previously, David held the position of Director of Accounting, Risk, and Treasury, overseeing vital financial functions and digital initiatives. Additional roles include Head of Accounting Business Partner Team and Head of Accounting Close, with trajectories involving business migration and team leadership. David's early career featured various finance roles, including work in group consolidation and external reporting. In addition to corporate roles, David is a member of the Board of Trustees for Little Hearts Matter and has prior audit experience at PwC. David holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham.
