Richard Scheffler

Richard Scheffler currently serves as the Vice President of Global Commercial Management for Energy Retail at E.ON, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Richard held various senior positions at E.ON Inhouse Consulting GmbH from October 2015 to January 2024, including Chief Transformation and Commercial Programming Officer, Associate Director, and Principal. Earlier experience includes working as an intern at Volkswagen Consulting China and as an intern in Risk Management at nkt cables GmbH, where project management of high voltage cable systems for offshore wind parks was involved. Richard holds a Master of Science in Business & Engineering from the University of Technology Dresden and an MBA from California International Business University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Business & Engineering from the University of Technology Dresden. The educational journey began with an Abitur from Landesgymnasium Sankt Afra.
