Tim Pirnay has extensive experience in energy trading and market optimization, currently serving as the Director of Forward Trading at E.ON Energy Markets GmbH since September 2023. Prior to this role, Tim held various positions at Uniper from January 2016 to September 2023, including Head of Market Access and Flow Trading, Head of UK Trading and Optimisation, and Lead Portfolio Optimiser for the UK. Tim's career at E.ON began in 2009, where responsibilities included Portfolio Optimizer and Asset Optimizer during a secondment in Italy. Tim's early experience includes internships at Innoven Partenaires, J.P. Morgan, and Deutsche Lufthansa AG. Tim Pirnay holds a Master’s degree in International Management from ESCP Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Maastricht University.
