Jim Brough

Taxi Complaince Officer

Jim Brough has extensive experience in public service and community safety roles. From February 1987 to February 2017, Jim served as a Constable with Nottinghamshire Police, specializing in traffic and roads policing. Following this, Jim held positions that included Community Protection (Taxi Enforcement) Officer at Nottingham City Council from November 2017 to August 2019, and Licensing Officer at Gedling Borough Council from August 2019 until November 2025. Currently, Jim is employed as a Taxi Compliance Officer at the City of Wolverhampton Council. In addition to these roles, Jim has contributed to educational and sporting organizations, serving as Chair of Governors at Coppice Farm Primary School from September 2016 to October 2020 and currently as a Child Safeguarding Officer at Hoveringham Cricket Club. Jim also worked as a Driver Handyman for Age UK in 2017.
