Afolake Dauda

Afolake Dauda has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Afolake started their career as an E-business representative at Sterling Bank Plc in 2014 and worked there until 2015. Afolake then joined IROKO Partners Limited as a Telesales Agent from April 2018 to July 2018. Following that, they worked as a Relief branch secretary at Diamond Bank Plc from August 2018 to December 2018. In 2019, they had multiple roles, starting as a Front end dev. (Intern) at Jekalo.com from January 2019 to April 2019, followed by a Customer Advisor position at Heritage group limited from May 2019 to September 2019. From October 2019 to May 2021, they worked as a Dispute Resolution Analyst at E-Settlement Limited. Afolake then transitioned to the role of a Business Analyst at the same company from May 2021 to the present. Additionally, in February 2022, they joined Yep! as a Business Analyst.

Afolake Dauda attended Eva Adelaja Girls Secondary School in Bariga, where they completed their secondary education. Afterward, they enrolled at Lagos City Polytechnic in Ikeja and earned a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science. Afolake furthered their education by pursuing a postgraduate degree in Information Technology at the National Open University of Nigeria.

In addition to their formal education, Afolake has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Afolake completed the WT Data Analysis Bootcamp offered by Tech4Dev in June 2023. Afolake also completed the Business Analysis Modeling Skills & Techniques course from Udemy in May 2023. Afolake acquired skills in Introduction to Business Intelligence through a program provided by Corporate Finance Institute® in May 2023. Afolake also completed Excel Fundamentals - Formulas for Finance offered by Corporate Finance Institute® in September 2022. In August 2022, they participated in the Excel Dashboard for Beginners course by Simplilearn. Afolake acquired business writing skills by completing the course "Write like a boss: Master your business writing skill" on Udemy in December 2021.

Furthermore, Afolake holds various professional certifications. Afolake obtained the Project Management Professionals certification from Skills Edge Training Ltd in December 2017. Afolake is also a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®), as they became an IIBA® member in May 2022.
