Jake Peery has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Jake is currently working as the Director of Electrical Engineering at E-Space since October 2022. Previously, they worked at Rocket Lab as the Avionics Lead of the Photon Program from June 2019 until October 2022. At Rocket Lab, they were responsible for leading the avionics team and played a key role in the design and development of the Photon satellite bus avionics for various missions. Before that, they worked at Shield AI as a Senior Electrical Engineer from October 2018 to April 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Harris Corporation as an Electrical Engineer IV Manager from April 2017 to October 2018, where they led a team and worked on the design of safety-critical digital video processing systems. Jake also co-owned Mech-Lock LLC and served as a Product Development Engineer from January 2015 to October 2018. Additionally, they have worked at Lockheed Martin, TrackAir, and Advantor Systems in various electrical engineering roles.

Jake Peery attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2004 to 2007, where they studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. From 2007 to 2010, they then attended the University of Central Florida, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. Their studies at the University of Central Florida focused on embedded systems, analog systems, RF networks, programming, and computer networks.
