John Wallace

VP, Satellite Platform at E-Space

John has over 20 years of aerospace industry experience and hands-on spacecraft design and manufacturing expertise. From CubeSat demonstration missions to multi-billion military satellites, he brings a breadth of satellite know-how to E-Space. At Lockheed Martin Space Systems, John supported multiple SIGINT and IMINT satellite programs, and worked to perfect the satellite manufacturing process. He would go on to become the principal engineer for multiple deployable systems. From solar arrays and deployment arms to antennas and release devices, John has a proven track record of success leading products from concept to design, build, satellite vehicle testing, and ultimately, launch. Seeing the potential for broader industry impact, John left Lockheed Martin to join a small satellite startup. That team would go on to become OneWeb, where he would spend the next 5 years creating high-reliability, cost effective satellite systems with a focus on high-volume manufacturability. In addition to satellite design, John ran a small R&D lab exploring new technology and opportunities supporting spacecraft design and ground antenna systems.
