Daniel Hockborn

Daniel Hockborn is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Commissioning Manager at Canadian Solar Inc. since September 2023, where responsibilities include managing the EMEA commissioning team and standardizing processes. Previously, Daniel held the position of Commissioning Manager for Energy Storage & Optimisation at Wärtsilä Energy from November 2018 to September 2023, leading site and remote commissioning teams and developing commissioning plans. Earlier in the career, Daniel worked as an Electrical Field Service Engineer, gaining diverse experience across vessels and power stations in Europe and the US, and served as an Electrical Technician at BOC UK & Ireland from August 2011 to October 2018. Daniel holds an HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Teesside University.
