Umesh Kumar

Umesh Kumar, CFA, FCCA, serves as the Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at e&, formerly known as Etisalat Group, since November 2021, having previously held the position of Senior Manager in the same department. With extensive experience in M&A and transaction advisory services at Grant Thornton - UAE, Umesh has successfully led transactions valued between $5 million and $410 million, providing strategic advisory, valuation, and negotiation support. Additional roles include Investment Analyst at Alternate Research and Advisory Trainee at KPMG, where relevant financial modeling and compliance expertise were developed. Umesh holds a Master of Finance from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
