John van Osta

John van Osta is a Principal Ecologist at E2M Pty Ltd, bringing over 10 years of experience in environmental assessments and specialized research. Having previously served as a Senior Ecologist at E2M and an Ecologist at GHD, John has developed expertise in large-scale environmental impact assessments and biodiversity monitoring. John completed a Bachelor of Environmental Science with First Class Honors at The University of Queensland and is currently pursuing a PhD at Griffith University, focusing on machine learning techniques for ecological research. John has a strong interest in enhancing the efficiency of environmental assessments and is well-versed in relevant legislation at all governmental levels.
