Roel Assies serves as the VP of Sales for the Business Unit LSP & Carriers at E2open since September 2021 and has held the position of Senior Director of Sales at BluJay Solutions since March 2017. With extensive experience in sales leadership, Roel has also worked as Sales Director for Kewill and previously served as Vice President of Sales at BluJay Solutions, from June 2018 to October 2021. Roel's tenure at IBS AB spanned from November 2009 to August 2016, where responsibilities included leading a sales team focused on software and services for supply chain management (SCM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Prior roles include Unit Manager for CRM/ERP at ilionx and various account management positions at IBS and its affiliates dating back to 1998. Roel holds a Master of Science in Human Geography from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Drs in Geography/Economics from the University of Amsterdam, alongside additional educational qualifications.
