Julio Torres

Julio Torres has been working in the field of Quality Assurance (QA) for several years. Julio started their career as a Scholarship SAP Basis at Capgemini in 2012. Julio then moved on to Sopra Steria in 2013, where they worked as a QA Engineer until 2016. During their time at Sopra Steria, they gained experience in Scrum Master as well. From 2016 to 2019, Julio worked at Digital Dimension - Econocom as a QA Engineer and Scrum Master. In 2019, they joined Econocom Gigigo as a QA Lead, where they worked until 2020. Currently, Julio is employed as a Senior QA Engineer at e2y, starting in April 2020.

Julio Torres has an extensive education history in the field of computer science and software engineering. Julio began their academic journey in 2006 at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), where they pursued a Technical Engineer degree in Computer Systems Science. This program lasted for five years, concluding in 2011.

After completing their Technical Engineer degree, Julio continued their education at the same institution, UPV, to earn a Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Formal Methods, and Information Systems. This postgraduate program took three years and finished in 2014.

In addition to their studies at UPV, Julio pursued a bachelor's degree in Informatics at Coventry University in 2009 and completed it in 2010.

To further enhance their professional qualifications, Julio obtained several certifications. In 2013, they acquired the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from Cambridge English Language Assessment. In 2015, they earned the ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB). Lastly, in 2018, Julio became a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) through the Scrum Alliance.
