Ren Orans is a Managing Partner at Energy & Environmental Economics since 1989. Prior to that, Ren worked at Pacific Gas and Electric Company from 1981 to 1985 in the Rates, Corporate Planning, Research and Development department. Ren received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1981 and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Stanford University in 1990.
