Keira Ritchie has worked in various roles in the healthcare field. In 2014, they began their career as a Clinician at Acadia Healthcare, where they focused on counseling pregnant women and practicing harm reduction therapy. Keira utilized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and motivational counseling techniques to help patients understand and overcome their addiction. Keira worked in this position until April 2016. From February 2016 to February 2017, Keira worked as a Co-occurring Counselor at Psychotherapeutic Services. In this role, they provided counseling to individuals dealing with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse issues. Keira then joined Connections Csp Inc in March 2017 as a Co-Occuring Counselor, but their employment there ended in August 2017. Keira Ritchie obtained their first degree, an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Human Services, General, from Delaware Technical and Community College-Stanton-Wilmington in 2013. During the same period, they also acquired another Associate of Science (A.S.) degree, this time in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from the same institution. In 2015, Keira completed their education at Wilmington University, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Psychology.
