Alex Smith

Alex Smith currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at e4 Strategic since February 2025. Prior to this role, Alex held the position of Chief Accounting Officer at Lesaka Technologies Inc. from March 2022 to February 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing financial reporting with a focus on US GAAP and SEC requirements. From January 2006 to February 2018, Alex was the Chief Financial Officer at Altron, responsible for all financial matters and operational oversight, and previously served as Group Financial Manager. Early career experience includes serving as Associate Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers from July 2002 to December 2005, contributing to the development of the Transaction Services department. Alex is a Chartered Accountant, having obtained the qualification from ICAS and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from The University of Edinburgh.
