Billy Chan

Billy Chan is a Senior Consultant and Product Owner at EA Technology, specializing in smart energy networks and grid technologies, and overseeing the development of the VisNet Design tool. Previously, as CTO and Co-founder of Socket Networks Limited, Billy defined product roadmaps and strategies in 5G private network architecture and IoT applications. At the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute, Billy held the position of Deputy Director of Networking Software, managing R&D projects in advanced wireless technologies. Billy holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
