Tim Butler

Tim Butler is an experienced professional with a strong background in project management and consulting, currently serving as Team Leader and Senior Consultant at EA Technology since August 2012. In this role, Butler focuses on Smart Interventions, implementing low carbon technologies into distribution networks and managing significant projects such as the My Electric Avenue initiative in partnership with Scottish and Southern Energy Power Distribution. Prior to this, Butler worked at Atkins from August 2006 to August 2012, initially as an Engineer in the Intelligent Transport Systems division and later as a Project Manager in the Aerospace division, overseeing tasks related to Airbus UK's A320 Landing Gear. Butler began the career at Network Rail as a Timetable Development Assistant during a Year in Industry placement on the West Coast Mainline Route Modernisation Project. Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering in Electronic Engineering from Lancaster University, completed in 2006.
