EACH Recovery Matters is a grassroots, community-led initiative based in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, dedicated to supporting individuals affected by addiction, homelessness, mental health challenges, and poverty. Operating under East Ayrshire Churches Homelessness Action (EACHa), we provide person-centred, trauma-informed services that meet people where they are—offering both immediate crisis intervention and long-term recovery pathways.

Our innovative One Stop Shop model brings together multi-agency partners including NHS, Justice, Housing, DWP, and community organisations to deliver wraparound support in one accessible space. From food provision and harm reduction to accredited training, peer mentoring, and employability programmes, we aim to empower individuals to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.

Through our outreach, drop-ins, groupwork, and our outdoor wellbeing charity New Heights, we’ve supported over 750 individuals in the past year alone. Recovery is not just about treatment—it’s about connection, community, and opportunity.

We are committed to strengthening recovery capital, amplifying the voice of lived experience, and building a compassionate, inclusive recovery community in East Ayrshire.
