Catherine Mason

Catherine Mason is an experienced licensed clinical social worker and therapist with a comprehensive background in mental health services. Currently serving as a Therapist III at UVA Health since May 2012, Catherine also holds multiple roles including LCSW/Admissions at Dominion Hospital and EAGALA practitioner. Catherine's private practice since June 2004 specializes in Reiki for both people and pets. With expertise in various therapeutic areas such as equine-assisted psychotherapy, substance abuse, anxiety disorders, and family relationship issues, Catherine has held previous positions as a psychotherapist at Full Circle Neuropsychiatric Wellness Center and as an addiction counselor at Inova Health System. Catherine earned a Master's degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
