Michael Lang

Michael Lang has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2012 with Nexul Software LLC, where they were the Founder. In this role, they provided software consulting services and custom software development. Michael then moved on to Ameren, where they were a Senior Consultant via Nexul Software. In this role, they collaborated with multiple teams to integrate iFactor automated messaging into the Ameren.com site, and led the development team on the Government Portal. Michael then moved on to PracticeLink as a Senior Software Engineer.

In 2013, Michael Lang became Co-Founder and CTO of Gnome Knows, where they innovated new services to build a better community between homeowners and service providers. In 2015, they became Co-Founder and CTO of Watchdog Creative, where they created websites for each Watchdog Creative brand. Michael also became a Consultant at Trident Technologies, where they collaborated with an agile 10 member development team to release product updates to 3 government communities every 2 months.

In 2016, Michael Lang joined Eagle Technology Group (Eagle TG, LLC) as an Applications Developer IV, where their responsibilities included collaboration with a team in an Agile 2-week sprint environment and research and implementation of a framework for government front-end projects. Michael also became Lead Developer at Sniperdyne, where they collaborated with the CEO, sales team and support team to flesh out requirements.

Finally, in 2022, Michael Lang founded Civic Dawn, a platform to match constituents with political organizations that share public policy values. Michael also helped people getting started in software development as an intern or apprentice, partnered with Nexul Academy.

Michael Lang attended The University of Kansas from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) in Architecture. Michael then attended University of Kansas, Lawrence Kansas from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) in Architecture. In 2018, they attended Nexul Academy and obtained an Immersive Full Stack Web Development degree in Computer Software Engineering. In 2016, they obtained a CompTIA Security+ ce certification from CompTIA. Michael also holds a MCSD certification from Microsoft.
