Eric Newell, CFA, is the Chief Financial Officer of Eagle Bancorp, where they currently oversee financial and operational performance. With over 12 years of experience in the banking industry, Eric previously served as the EVP and CFO of Equity Bank, enhancing financial reporting and contributing to the bank's growth strategy. Before that, they were the CFO of United Bank, which was acquired by a larger regional bank in 2019. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and a Master of Science in Business Analytics, both from Northeastern University.
