European Alliance of Neuromuscular Disorders Associations (EAMDA) brings together neuromuscular disorders associations from across Europe with the singular aim of advocating for the rights and interests of people living with neuromuscular disorders. It raises awareness, promotes scientific knowledge, and supports the development of new therapies and diagnostic methods.

EAMDA’s efforts are focused on building a network of like-minded organisations with the singular objective of improving the future for all people living with neuromuscular disorders in Europe. We firmy believe that by working together, we can make a meaningful difference.

Established in 1970 in London, EAMDA later moved to Valetta, Malta. Since 2008, it is headquartered in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Its staff and volunteers contribute remotely from across Europe.
