Andrew Johnson is a Principal Electroacoustic Engineer at Eargo since October 2021, having previously served as a Senior Electroacoustic Engineer at Starkey Hearing from June 2008 to July 2021. With a strong background in electrical and acoustical design, Andrew specializes in the development of innovative hearing assistance devices, encompassing audio system design, characterization, analog and digital signal processing, and capability analysis. Andrew began their career at Starkey Hearing as an Electroacoustic Engineer, progressing to a senior role, and initially worked as an Electroacoustic Intern where a SPICE-based electroacoustic simulation tool was developed. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
