Bill Brownie

Bill Brownie is the current COO at Eargo. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director at HearingPlanet & Sonova e-HearingCare. Bill was responsible for all financial, marketing and operational activities for the Brentwood, TN office of Sonova e-Hearingcare. This included over 80 employees supporting HearingPlanet, contact center services for retail brick and mortar clinics, as well as a digital marketing team.

In 2014, they formed Sonova e-Hearingcare to act as shared service hub supporting Sonova's North America wholesale and retail assets. Services included contact center supporting HearingPlanet, Connect Hearing (Sonova's brick and mortar retail operations), as well as other Sonova brands. Call handling per month regularly exceeded 30,000 phone calls while maintaining 95% answer rates and less than 30 seconds to answer.

Also in 2014, they recruited a marketing team to support all digital marketing efforts of Sonova's North American assets. The team managed a marketing budget in excess of $5MM.

Bill Brownie pursued a bachelor's degree in accounting from San Diego State University.

A direct report to Bill Brownie is and Tricia Burchell - VP, People Operations. Bill Brownie reports to Christian Gormsen, CEO. They are on a team with Adam Laponis - CFO, Ajit Pillai - SVP, Research & Development, and Christy La Pierre - Chief Legal Officer.
