Jingbo Yang

Jingbo (James) Yang is a highly experienced audio DSP and AI engineer, currently serving as Principal Audio DSP/AI Engineer at Eargo since September 2021, where responsibilities include leading machine learning and deep learning projects for speech enhancement. Prior to this role, Jingbo was a Senior Staff Audio DSP Engineer, successfully improving ultrasonic communication systems and feedback cancellation algorithms, resulting in significant performance enhancements. With a strong foundation in audio DSP from previous positions at Starkey Hearing Technologies and Versonic Pte Ltd, Jingbo has been a key contributor to numerous advanced hearing aid features. Jingbo holds a Master's Degree in Speech Signal Processing from Nanyang Technological University and a Bachelor's Degree in EEE from Tsinghua University, specializing in Speech Signal Processing and Wireless Communication.
