The college planning process is one of the most important and most overwhelming journeys a family will navigate. early bird™ guides students from aspiration to admission — with clarity, confidence, and far less stress.

We've been inside the admissions office. We've read the files. We've advised over a thousand families. And we've seen the same thing over and over: the students who succeed aren't always the most talented. They're the most guided. We built early bird to change that.

What early bird Is:

An all-in-one college planning platform for students in grades 8–12, their families, and the counselors who support them, combining smart technology with real human expertise to make the process clearer, more transparent, and more empowering for every student.

→ A personalized strategic roadmap built around your student's unique strengths and goals
→ A Fit Score engine that surfaces colleges where your student will truly thrive
→ Essay tools that help students find their voice, develop their narrative, and write with confidence
→ Robin, our AI guidance engine, is available anytime to answer questions and keep students on track
→ An Expert Marketplace connecting families to former admissions readers, writing experts, college ambassadors, and specialists — on demand
→ Tools for high school counselors and IECs to better serve their students

Who Built This:

Carrie Jorgenson — admissions expert, former UC Berkeley and UC Santa Cruz reader, 1,000+ families advised. Jessica Shearon — product and technology leader, 25+ years at Apple, USAA, and HP.

We built this because we've seen what a difference real guidance makes and because the college planning script needed to change. Every family deserves clarity, confidence, and a process that works for them.
