Dave Whitaker

Dave Whitaker is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in security architecture and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Security Architect at Early Warning® since December 2017, Dave has also held the position of Senior Systems Engineer at Better Practices, LLC. since March 2014. Previous roles include Senior Linux Administrator at EMPLOYERS and Senior Systems Engineer at both Clear Capital and CIS Data Systems. Dave's career began in the late 1990s, working as a Systems Administrator and a Senior Network Administrator, and includes positions at various organizations such as California State University, Sacramento and the California Department of Education. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University and an Associate of Arts in Sociology from American River College.
