Joshua Chu

Joshua Chu has held various roles throughout their work experience. Joshua started their career as a Business Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland in 2009. Joshua then worked as an Oracle DBA at US Steel from 2011 to 2013, and at PNC from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2019, Joshua was the Manager of Database Administration at Duquesne Light Company. Following this, they served as a Manager/Architect of Database and Middleware Services at ATI from 2019 to 2022. Most recently, Joshua joined Early Warning as the Director of Data Platform Services in September 2022. In addition to their corporate roles, Joshua has also served as Affiliate Faculty at both Robert Morris University and Regis University, teaching courses related to computer and information sciences.

Joshua Chu completed their education at Robert Morris University, where they obtained both a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management and a Master's degree in Competitive Intelligence Systems from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, Joshua has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including Change Leadership, Collaboration Principles and Process, Counterintuitive Leadership Strategies for a VUCA Environment, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Difficult Situations: Solutions for Managers, Fred Kofman on Accountability, Leading with Vision, Managing Innovation, Organizational Culture, and Strategic Planning: Case Studies. These certifications were obtained in June 2023, except for three additional certifications obtained in May 2023: Bill George on Self-Awareness, Authenticity, and Leadership, How Leaders Can Motivate Others by Creating Meaning, and Inclusion During Difficult Times. Joshua has also received a certification in Psychological Safety: Clear Blocks to Innovation, Collaboration, and Risk-Taking in May 2023.
