Patrick Bliss

Patrick Bliss, MBA, C.P.M. has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Patrick currently serves as the Vice President of Procure to Pay at Early Warning®. In this role, they lead and develops strategic sourcing, spend optimization, and procure-to-pay functionality, with a focus on maximizing the value of sourcing processes. Patrick also oversees supplier risk and relationship management, buy-side contract management, and spend analysis activities. Prior to Early Warning®, Patrick worked as the Director of Supply Chain & Procurement at Blackboard, where they managed and controlled spend for internal utilization and maximized value while minimizing costs. Before that, they served as the Director of Procurement at Early Warning Services, where they provided strategic sourcing processes and focused on sourcing best practices, spend visibility, and procurement process streamlining. Patrick also has experience in the education sector, having worked as a Faculty member at the University of Phoenix from 2001 to 2014. Patrick also worked at Apollo Group, where they held positions as Director of Solutions, Workforce Solutions and Director of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement. Additionally, Patrick has experience in the restaurant industry, having worked as a General Manager at Sizzler International, Inc. Patrick Bliss brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management, and has a strong track record of success in their various roles.

Patrick Bliss, MBA, C.P.M. completed their education with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Hotel/Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University in 1993. Patrick later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained in 1999. Prior to their higher education, Patrick graduated from Tempe High School in 1988 with a high school diploma. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) certification from the Institute for Supply Management in January 2001.
