Richard Ignacio

Richard Ignacio is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a robust background in both teaching and technical roles. Currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at multiple universities, including the University of Colorado, San Diego State University, and California State University, Richard has been involved in cybersecurity boot camps since 2022. Richard's technical expertise is demonstrated through the position of Security Automation Architect II at Early Warning®, along with previous roles at AT&T, FireEye, and Mandiant. At FireEye, Richard managed the Security Orchestration Architecture Team and developed security playbooks and plug-ins. Richard's career also includes significant military experience as a Penetration Tester for the US Army, where responsibilities included leading a testing team and developing cybersecurity tools. Additionally, Richard held a senior security engineering position at BlackRock, focusing on vulnerability management and penetration testing programs. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Regis University.
