Stefan Lawrence

Stefan Lawrence is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in banking and financial services. Currently serving as Contracts Counsel at Early Warning® since June 2023, Stefan previously held the position of Vice President and Associate General Counsel at First Republic Bank from March 2019 to June 2023, where responsibilities included managing consumer and business deposit operations and ensuring compliance with various regulatory requirements. Earlier roles included Vice President and Counsel at MUFG Union Bank, N.A., and Senior Counsel at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., specializing in deposits and payment systems. Stefan began a legal career as an attorney at Wright Finlay & Zak, LLP, focusing on mortgage banking and retail bank operations litigation. Education includes a Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing from San Francisco State University. Notably, Stefan is the founder and chair of the DiverseABILITY Colleague Community.
