David Durant

David Durant is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel and Secretary at Earnin since September 2022. Previously, David held multiple positions at Yapstone from May 2015 to September 2022, including EVP, Secretary, General Counsel, and Chief Administrative Officer. Prior to that, David was General Counsel and Secretary at Blackhawk Network from June 2006 to April 2015 and served as Sr. Corporate Counsel at Safeway Inc. from August 1999 to June 2006. Early in the career, David was an Associate at Crosby, Heafey, Roach & May from 1990 to 1999 and worked as a Tribunal Administrator for the American Arbitration Association from January 1985 to October 1986. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University and Rutgers University - Newark.
