John Whitehead

John Whitehead is a Senior Consultant at The Earnscliffe Strategy Group, a position they have held since 2013. They previously served in various roles at the Ontario Ministry of Finance from 1999 to 2005, including Assistant Deputy Minister and Director of the Office of the Budget and Taxation. Currently, John is also the Assistant Deputy Minister of the Policy and Strategy Division at the Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation. They held leadership roles at the Ontario Ministry of Energy from 2009 to 2012, serving as Chief Administrative Officer and Assistant Deputy Minister for Regulatory Affairs and Strategic Policy. John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University in 1980.
