Ali Rafie

Ali Rafie is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in product development, system design, and hardware implementation. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Earth since September 2024, Ali previously excelled as the Lead Electrical and Hardware Engineer at Picnic, where responsibilities included architecting next-generation hardware for mass production. As the Founder of Excellence Tutoring Services, Ali demonstrated entrepreneurial skills by launching a tutoring company with a high client retention rate. Ali's background also includes roles at L'Oréal and Microsoft focusing on test planning, and previous experience in medical device design at Hevvy/Toyo Pumps North America Corporation and The University of British Columbia. Ali holds a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
