Michele Corbett

Michele Corbett has extensive work experience in various fields. Michele started their career as a Class Intern at Vassar College, where they assisted students and professors in a Research Methods course. Michele then worked as a Marketing Assistant at DIRECTV, providing support to the sales team.

Afterwards, Michele joined maslansky + partners as a Recruiting Manager and Internship Director. Michele spent four years with the company, working on research teams and overseeing logistics for focus groups and surveys.

Michele then transitioned to L'Oréal, where they held several roles within the HR department. Michele served as Assistant Manager and Manager in Talent Acquisition, and later became the Manager of Talent Development for the Global Marketing and Brand Innovation population. Michele also worked as the Director of Human Resources for commercial sales and e-commerce, and as the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources.

In addition to their corporate roles, Michele has been involved in volunteering. Michele is an Admissions Volunteer for the Vassar College Alumni Admissions Program, where they interview prospective students and represents the college at events. Michele is also an Advisory Board Member and Conference Speaker for FindSpark, a community dedicated to helping young creatives in their career success.

Most recently, Michele joined Earthbound as the Senior Director of People Operations, where they are responsible for overseeing the HR function.

Michele Corbett completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Jewish Studies from Vassar College, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. In 2005 to 2006, they also participated in a study abroad program at Monash University.

In terms of additional certifications, Michele obtained the Remote Work Bootcamp certification from the Josh Bersin Academy in October 2020. Michele also earned certifications in People Analytics and People as Competitive Advantage from the same institution in September and July 2020, respectively. Prior to that, in October 2019, they obtained the Certified Marketer Level 1 Credential from General Assembly. Michele has also completed the Influencing People course on Coursera and received the corresponding certificate in October 2016.

In terms of professional certifications, Michele acquired the AIRS PRC- Professional Recruiter Certification 2.0 from AIRS in February 2013, and prior to that, they obtained the AIRS CIR Certified Internet Recruiter certification from the same institution in May 2012.
