Chad Propst

Chad Propst has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Chad is currently working as the Director of Logistics at EarthGrid, a Public Benefit Corporation. In this role, Chad is involved in the mission to build a subterranean network of tunnels for renewable energy, quantum ultra-high-speed Internet, and sustainable services.

Prior to this, Chad served as an Operations employee at The Blockyard, LLC, a Bitcoin Mining company, from May 2021 to November 2021.

From 2017 to 2019, Chad worked at the Army Capabilities Integration Center (ARCIC) where they held the positions of Cost-Benefit Analyst and Operations Research and Systems Analyst (ORSA). During this period, they provided valuable analysis and data to Army leaders for informed decision-making on combat systems development and acquisition.

Before their time at ARCIC, Chad served in the US Army from 2011 to 2017 as an ORSA and Team Leader for the Field Artillery Analysis Team. In this role, they led a team of civilian analysts and conducted various analyses, including business case analyses and cost-benefit analyses.

Chad's military experience began in 1997 as a Field Artilleryman, Enlisted, and later as a Field Artillery Officer. Chad served in this capacity until 2008, holding positions such as Artillery Battery Commander, Infantry Company Commander, and Assistant Brigade S-3.

Chad Propst has a diverse education history. Chad began their academic journey at the Institute of American Indian Arts, where they earned an Associate of Fine Art degree in Creative Writing from 1994 to 1996. Chad then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration at Cameron University, completing this program from 2003 to 2004.

Continuing their education, Chad obtained a significant qualification in the field of Operations Research. Chad attended the Operations Research & Systems Analysis - Military Applications Course (ORSA-MAC) from 2011 to 2012, becoming ORSA Qualified.

Recognizing the importance of further education, Chad pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State University. Chad successfully completed this program from 2013 to 2016, specializing in Industrial Engineering.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Chad also attended the US Army Command and General Staff College for the Common Core Graduate program. Chad participated in this course in 2013 to attain further skills and knowledge as a Command and General Staff Officer.
