Sean Riel

Sean Riel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sean began their career in 2011 as an Esselen Peer Minister at the Newman Catholic Center, where they coordinated activities and programs to support students. Sean also initiated informal lectures and held office hours for academic assistance. In 2012, they worked as an Image Processing and Cataloging Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, digitizing and cataloging images for a publicly-accessible database. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Latin Instructor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, developing course syllabi and assessments. Sean also collaborated on curriculum and exam development. Sean then worked as a Substitute Teacher at Tantasqua Regional High School for a short period in 2016. In 2017, they became a Lecturer at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Their more recent work experience includes roles at Earthlight Technologies, where they worked as a Field Marketing Associate, Sales and Marketing Coordinator, Field Marketing Manager, Sales Operations Manager, National Sales Manager (Residential Solar and Storage), Director of Residential Solar Sales, and currently holds the position of Director Sales Operations.

Sean Riel completed their education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Sean obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Classics: Classical Archaeology from 2009 to 2014. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in M.A.T Latin and Classical Humanities from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, Sean Riel has obtained several certifications, including being a Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant from Salesforce in January 2023. Sean also holds the Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) certification, which they obtained in May 2019. Furthermore, they have an Initial Teaching Certification in Latin and Classical Humanities (Grades 5-12) from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, which they obtained in July 2016. Sean also acquired a Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in June 2016.
