David Murr has over 30 years of work experience, beginning with a Peace Corps Volunteer position in 1992. In 2003, they became a Research Associate and Lecturer at Dartmouth College. In 2007, they were an AAAS Diplomacy Fellow and Science Policy Advisor for the U.S. Department of State. From 2008 to 2016, they served as an Associate Professor of Physics at Augsburg College. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as the Chief Scientist at OmniEarth. Finally, from 2017 to 2022, they were a Data Scientist at EagleView, and is currently the Chief Data Scientist at EarthOptics.
David Murr obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Augsburg University between 1988 and 1992. David then went on to earn a PhD in Space Physics from Boston University between 1997 and 2003.
